Terms of use

Last updated: October 6, 2026

These terms of use set the rules for reading and using casiloon.com. They are short on purpose, and written so that you can know what you are agreeing to without a lawyer. By using the site, you accept them. If you do not, please stop using Casiloon.

The site belongs to an independent publisher established in the European Union. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean that publisher, and “you” means anyone who visits the site.

Casiloon is

A free, independent guide

  • Information about the casino sites licensed in Canadian provinces
  • Reviews and scores built on a method anyone can read
  • Free to read, with no account to create
  • Funded by affiliate commissions, never by readers
Casiloon is not

A casino, a regulator or an adviser

  • A gambling site: no wager is ever placed here and no money is held for anyone
  • A regulator: only the provinces license and oversee casino sites
  • Legal, financial or tax advice
  • A party to any account you open with a casino

What Casiloon offers

Casiloon publishes guides, directories and reviews about online casinos in Canada. Every page is free and can be read without signing up. The only information you can send us is a message, through the contact form or by email.

We do not run any casino or betting service, and nobody can deposit, bet or win money on casiloon.com. When a page sends you to a casino site, everything that happens there is between you and the operator of that site.

Who the site is for

Casiloon is written for adults in Canada. The legal age to gamble online is 19 in Ontario and 18 in Alberta, and you must have reached it before you follow any link to a casino site. If you are younger, do not use those links. The help lines and self-exclusion tools on our pages remain open to anyone.

Ontario and Alberta are the only provinces where private companies are licensed to run online casinos. Elsewhere in Canada, legal online gambling goes through the provincial lottery corporation, where one offers it. If you read Casiloon from outside Canada, the gambling laws of the place where you are apply to you, and checking them is your responsibility.

Reading our guides and scores

Each page is checked against the official source it relies on, such as a provincial register or a regulator’s standards, and shows the date of its last update. Scores are opinions reached through a published method; you can see the way scores out of 10 are worked out before trusting one.

Casino sites change their terms, games and payment options without telling us. Before you open an account or deposit, read the casino’s own terms on its site: they are the ones that bind you. If you notice something out of date or wrong here, report it to us and we will go back to the source to verify it.

Nothing on Casiloon is legal, financial or tax advice, and no page can promise a result. Gambling can cost money you cannot afford to lose. Our page of free tools to set limits or stop covers each province.

Paid links and how we mark them

Some links to casino sites may be affiliate links: if you open an account after clicking one, the casino, or the program that manages its affiliates, may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing. Those links carry the rel=“sponsored” attribute, and a notice placed above the content warns you before you reach one.

Commissions pay for the site, and they stop there. A commercial agreement never moves a casino up a ranking, raises its score or softens what a review says, and a licensed site with no agreement can be reviewed on the same terms. Our About page explains the commission model in more detail.

Your account with a casino is a separate agreement

When you sign up with a casino site, your contract is with the licensed company behind that site, under its own terms and under the rules of the province that licenses it. We cannot see your account, act for you or recover a balance.

A withdrawal that does not arrive, an account closed without explanation or a disagreement over a bonus starts with the casino’s customer service, then moves to the provincial route. Our contact page shows where an account dispute should go in Ontario and in Alberta.

Using our content

The texts, scores, tables, images and the Casiloon logo belong to us. You may quote a short passage, as long as you name Casiloon and link to the page it comes from. Copying whole pages, republishing a directory or using our scores in an advertisement requires our written permission.

Casino names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners and appear only to identify the sites we write about. Information taken from public registers belongs to the authority that publishes it, and we name that authority on the page. If you believe something on Casiloon infringes your rights, write to us with the page address and the work concerned, and we will look at it promptly.

What we ask of every visitor

Please do not try to break into the site, overload it, or copy it with automated tools. Do not use the contact form to send advertising, threats or abuse, or to pass yourself off as someone else. We may block access to anyone who does.

Messages you send us are handled as described in the privacy and cookie policy. We never publish a reader’s name or message without asking first.

Limits of our responsibility

We work to keep every page accurate and the site available, but we cannot promise that it will always be online, complete or free of mistakes. We are not responsible for money lost while gambling, for decisions you make based on our pages, or for what happens on a website we link to.

These limits apply as far as the law allows. They do not cover harm we cause deliberately or through gross negligence, and they do not take away any right that the law of the place where you live gives you and that cannot be waived.

Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the EU member state in which the publisher has its seat. That choice does not remove any protection given to you by the mandatory rules of the country or province where you live.

If you have a complaint about Casiloon, write to us first: most problems are solved by correcting a page. If we cannot settle it together, it will go to the courts of that member state, unless the law of your place of residence lets you bring it closer to home. If a court finds one part of these terms invalid, the rest still applies.

When these terms change

We may update these terms when the site changes, for example when we add a province or a new kind of page. The date at the top will change, and the version published here is the one that applies to your visit.

For any question about these terms, write to contact@casiloon.com. Ask at the same address if you need the publisher’s full name and postal address.
